Is there any arc-flash concern with a powered device near a panel?
R-Glass is a low-voltage battery device with no exposed conductors, but it is not rated PPE and does not replace any part of your arc-flash program. Treat it as you would a phone or camera and follow your own safety policy.
Can it work with hearing protection?
The audio is delivered by open stereo speakers at the temple, so it competes with earmuffs. In loud environments most crews use the capture and documentation features rather than audio playback.
Does it integrate with our existing job management software?
The SDK is open and the output is standard structured data, so it can be wired into whatever you already run. Integration work is part of a pilot.
